Connectors bring your organization’s knowledge into Hadiq.io. Once connected, Hadiq.io continuously syncs content from each source in the background, so every search and chat response can draw on up-to-date information from across your entire knowledge base.

Indexed connectors vs. MCP

Hadiq.io takes a fundamentally different approach from tools that use MCP live queries. MCP connectors fetch data at query time via API calls — which means slow responses, incomplete results, and no way to search across sources in a single query. Hadiq.io connectors pre-index everything:

Hadiq.io indexed connectors

  • Continuously syncs in the background
  • Instant answers across all connected sources
  • Permission-aware: users only see what they can access
  • Hybrid semantic + keyword search across all content
  • Works even when source systems are slow or down

MCP live query

  • Fetches data at query time via API calls
  • Slow: limited to what a single API call returns
  • No cross-source search in a single query
  • No automatic permission syncing
  • Fails when source systems are rate-limited or unavailable
Hadiq.io also supports MCP as an action mechanism — letting agents interact with external tools at runtime. This is separate from the indexed connector system used for search and chat.

Permission syncing

Hadiq.io syncs access control lists from your source systems automatically. Users only see answers sourced from documents they are authorized to view in the original tool — no separate permission layer to configure. Your existing security policies carry over to AI search automatically.
Automatic permission syncing is available in Hadiq.io Enterprise and covers Confluence, Jira, GitHub, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
Hadiq.io supports 50+ connectors including Slack, Google Drive, Confluence, GitHub, Notion, Gmail, Jira, Salesforce, Zendesk, SharePoint, and more. See all connectors and setup guides →
